“It’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln

Fellas, low testosterone can have a variety of adverse effects on your life…

Fat storage, lack of sexual fervor, bouts of low energy, brain fog, and worst of all…

Feelings of depression.

Now, why would I emphasize depression as the worst symptom of testosterone?

Well, because depression steals from your quality of life…

It starves you of your appetite for adventure, shrugs at ambitious tasks, freezes your sexual desire, and feeds you with anxiety…

And to add insult to injury, depression has led many men to take their own lives…

Men, depression steals both the life in your years and the years in your life.

Which is why it’s important that we talk about it…

But I don’t just want to talk about how low testosterone can cause depression as much as I want to emphasize that high testosterone lowers depression.

So let’s take a closer look at testosterone, depression, and how to improve your mental health and your overall quality of life as a result.

Low Testosterone and Depression

Now, I’m not going to downplay the pain that depression can cause for guys like you and me…

I’ve been through bouts of depression myself…

But depression doesn’t have to linger any longer if you don’t let it…

I want you to know that you can come out on the other side of chronic anxiety and depression.

But in order to do that, you need to confront it.

Because if you don’t contend with depression it will become crippling…

And for men, one of the best strategies of contention against depression is to boost your testosterone levels.

Have you ever heard of the term “mid-life crisis?”

A mid-life crisis can be described as a moment in a man’s life when he begins to unravel from his true meaning, and tries to find his meaning in something, well, more meaningful…

But oftentimes, that “meaningful” thing is something silly, like buying a motorcycle, or joining a Led Zeppelin cover band.

What I’ve noticed in recent years is the mid-life crisis trend isn’t waiting around for “mid-life” anymore…

Instead, 28-year olds are having crises of their own…

Suffering with depression, lack of purpose, and complacency in their mom’s basement…

As I mention in my free book, The Man Diet (check it out here), low testosterone, once a problem for men over 40, has become a common phenomenon in younger men who should be in their anabolic prime…

In fact, our generation is the most depressed of any that’s ever existed.

The reason?

Low testosterone…

One 2004 study, shows that as men age, their testosterone declines, and as a result, they become depressed, irritable and moody…

Not exactly the way you’d want to be described by anybody, I’m sure…

But in a world where testosterone killers such as fast food diets, lack of sleep, and chronic stress runs rampant, it’s no wonder that these effects of low testosterone – once used to describe the grumpy old man down the street, now encompass young guys in their 20’s and 30’s, too.

According to another observational study, of 200 men with low testosterone, 56% of them had symptoms of depression, along with low libido and fatigue, which actually add further to feelings of depression themselves…

In fact, one of the primary causes of low testosterone in these men was their diet…

Which is one of the reasons I wrote my book, The Man Diet… To turn the tables on our fast food culture and start eating like men again… And as a result, boost our testosterone levels. Grab your free copy here.

So the evidence is clear: Low testosterone causes depression in men…

The remedy?

Boost your testosterone levels.

High Testosterone Lowers Depression

Depression doesn’t need to rule any man…

You just need to take care of what makes you a man…

Your testosterone…

Because high testosterone lowers depression.

In a 2014 study, conducted by the Department of Neurology at Saint Louis University, 944 men were tested over the course of 16 trials and the results showed a direct correlation between testosterone and depression…

The study concluded that when testosterone therapy was applied to young men, they saw a profound boost in general feelings of wellness and positivity…

In fact, testosterone was so effective in young, depressed men that it’s been adopted as a cure for depression, a sole treatment in young to middle-aged men…

In another study involving 50 men at an average age of 57-years old (diagnosed with low testosterone and depression), received testosterone therapy at the Kobe University Graduate School Of Medicine…

The results of the testosterone therapy were effective both in a short and long-term fashion with only 11 of the 50 men still struggling with depression after treatment.

And finally,

A 2009 study revealed that high testosterone lowers depression by using a simple HAM-D test, a 21-item clinical-administered multiple-choice measure of depression symptom severity.

While some participants in this study were given a placebo, others were given a testosterone replacement…

And the men that were given the testosterone replacement treatment scored higher on the HAM-D than those that did not…

Establishing that they felt generally better than the others with low testosterone.

The consensus is clear when studying the correlation between testosterone and depression.

Low testosterone increases feelings of depression.

High testosterone lowers depression

It’s pretty cut and dry.

Overcome Depression Today By Doing This

So what’s your next step to lower feelings of depression?

Boost your testosterone…

Here are a few ways to boost testosterone and beat depression:

The Man Diet

Fellas, you need to start eating like men again…

We weren’t meant to live on fast food, and sugar…

As a man, you were wired in a way that requires you to eat testosterone-boosting foods to be at your best…

So eat like a man.

Eat more healthy fats, with a large amount of gluten-free carbohydrates and a moderate amount of protein.

Finding the sweet spot of your nutrition is essential to having optimal testosterone levels and beating depression, which is why I wrote The Man Diet… I’m giving away the book for free to help as many men as possible turn their testosterone levels around. Grab your free copy of The Man Diet here, and finally eat like you were meant to.

Multivitamin

One of the easiest ways to boost your testosterone levels, is to take a good multivitamin…

A major reason for low testosterone is that you’re missing out on essential micronutrients like zinc, selenium, magnesium and loads of other vitamins and minerals…

Which is why I created a one-a-day multivitamin called The Barbarian Manhood Multi, a natural testosterone-booster that’ll fill in the gaps of your nutrition and take your testosterone to the next level.

High testosterone lowers depression

Taking Barbarian is the equivalent of taking an anti-depressant with extra benefits like better libido, bigger muscle growth, more energy, fat loss and all of the other perks of high testosterone levels.

Grab Barbarian for yourself here.

Fellas, “It’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”

I hope you’ll take advantage of The Man Diet and The Barbarian Manhood Multi to turn your testosterone levels around and as a result improve your quality of life…

Make the years of your life count…
