The other week I went to amazon and bought a book.
I didn’t expect much from it because of what it focuses on:
Building and growing an online business.
I’ve had an online business for 7 or so years now.
I’ve hired coaches, joined mastermind groups, gone to seminars and bought books that help you build a better, bigger business to serve the people you want to serve.
The coaches were good. The mastermind groups weren’t anything special. The seminars were okay.
… The books were horrible.
Now, I’m not going to bash anyone, but most guys writing a book about building an online business do a few things wrong:
- They teach things that only apply to how they like to do business. For me, their way never works. I write to guys like me, there aren’t many businesses like that.
- They teach things that are out of date within 1 year.
With technology and social media changing so damn often, you can write a book about what’s current, and within even a few months, that stuff won’t work any longer.
- They don’t teach steps (or at least not the correct ones).

So the other week, when the book arrived, I flipped through the first pages, and then the next few, and then within 2 days I’d read the entire book (which is great for a slow reader like myself).

I genuinely wish I’d read this book on day one of building my business.
It would have helped me avoid a lot of mistakes, and it’s something I could then flip back to over those 7 years.
It takes you through the first, second, third, fourth, fifth etc… steps of how to grow a business online teaching whatever it is you want to teach.
Maybe you’re an expert at Jiu-Jistu. Maybe you’re in great shape. Maybe you’re a former member of the military and you want to teach people about the lessons you learned while you served…
… I don’t know, but it doesn’t actually matter what you want to teach.

I’m 100% positive that you can build that business to a 6 figure business within 3 years (probably less, I’m being typically conservative with these estimates).
To be honest, I’d trade everything I’ve done thus far for this book.

Now, who, specifically, is this book for?
Honestly, we’re all in the business world, or we all should be in the business world.
Whether you have a full time job but a hobby, or you’re looking for the kind of location independence that I’ve enjoyed over the past decade, working from Italy, Argentina, Uruguay, Africa, and so on…
You should be earning money online.
For one, it’s a safety net.
You’re never dependent on one client, so if you lose your job you’ll at least have something to fall back on.
You can also earn money talking about only what interests you because I’m guessing it will help someone.
Take a look at how I’ve done it…
I’m interested in becoming a better man. It’s a problem I want to solve.
I’m interested in boosting my testosterone levels. Again, a problem I’m actively solving.
The solutions I find to these problems I then package and sell.
The research may take me a year or two, so why would I just keep it to myself? That makes NO SENSE!
Others who don’t have the time to spend a year researching something can just buy the Man Diet or download the 10-days to toughness program for free, and benefit from the work I’ve done.
You should be the same.
Take something you’re interested in, a problem you want to solve, solve it, and then let others benefit from your work.
Here’s the key, don’t waste time figuring out how to build the business, focus on solving those problems.
